Ginger Beef with Broccoli
Serves 2

3/4 Pound Sirloin, thinly sliced
1/2 - 3/4 Pound Broccoli
1 Carrot, sliced diagonally
3 Green Onions, sliced
2 Cloves Garlic
2 Tbs chopped Ginger
3 Tbs Soy Sauce
1 Tbs Sherry
2 Tbs Corn Starch
1/2 Cup Chicken Stock
1 tsp Hot Sesame Oil *
2 Tbs Peanut Oil

1. Marinate the sliced sirloin for at least 10 minutes
in mixture of 2 Tbs Soy, Sherry, 1 clove crushed garlic,
1 Tbs chopped ginger, hot sesame oil, and corn starch.

2. Add 1 Tbs peanut oil, half clove chopped garlic,
and half Tbs chopped ginger to very hot wok and stir
fry sear beef for 1-1/2 minutes or so. Remove beef from pan.

3. Add 1 Tbs peanut oil, half clove chopped garlic, and
half Tbs chopped ginger to hot wok and stir fry chopped
vegetables for 1-1/2 minutes.

4. Add chicken stock with 1 Tbs soy sauce and remaining
juice from marinade bag to vegetables and cook on high for
4 minutes. Make sure to scrape the bottom of the wok and
stir into the mix.

5. Sitr in beef and cook for another couple of minutes,
until ready to serve.

6. Serve over Jasmine rice, cooked with remaining chicken
stock. Add water to make total liquid 2x the rice. I use
3/4 cup rice and add a dash of salt to the rice cooker.

* (can subsitue Sesame Oil and add 1/2 tsp cround chili
pepper)
